Worshiping God is our highest priority and purpose in life. Sunday morning is our opportunity to join corporately in giving God the honor and praise for which He is worthy. Hebrews 10:25 says to never forsake the assembling together; because there is a divine exchange between God and His people when we gather in unity to exalt the name of our God (II Chronicles 5:13, 14). Sunday morning is a catalyst for encouragement, refreshing and inspiring excitement to engage in Biblical studies and pursuing the things of God (Genesis 32:24,25; 2 Chronicles 15:2; Psalm 51:17; James 4:8).
We would love to have you join us every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. For more information contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prayer is the foundation of all ministry and is the structural support of our spiritual walk with God. We see in scripture that God has called us to pray without ceasing (Ephesians 6:18 ). We are to go before Him continually, and to seek Him in order to ensure His will be done in every life situation. When we seek Him, He promises that the Holy Spirit will guide us (John 16:13). “For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may have a walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him.” (Colossians 1:9-10a)
The prayer team currently meets every other Sunday morning prior to church service from 9 to 9:45 a.m. For more information contact email@example.com
In the beginning God created man as relational beings, even the new earth will have life in a city (Revelation 21:1-2). The cares and busyness of life choke out the Word of God and hinders us from taking the time to develop friendships and grow in the Word. When we seek Him first, He will take all those burdens (Matthew 13:22; Matthew 6:33).
The Ridge has life groups throughout Broomfield, Westminster, Northglenn, Thornton, and Erie. Although each group is unique, they have the common mission of building community through fellowship and accountability, and they desire to grow spiritually through studying God’s Word together. Jesus modeled spiritual growth through discipleship. He invested in the lives of a handful of people, who then invested in others, who then invested in others… We believe that there is tremendous potential for spiritual growth when people are meeting regularly one-on-one to encourage, study God’s Word, keep each other accountable and to simply “do life” together. Therefore, we do periodic training on how to have effective one-on-one discipleship and encourage everyone to enter into that kind of transformational relationship.
Men and Women:
People are extremely busy in our culture! Rather than throwing several more activities and commitments at men and women, we encourage all men and women to be involved in connecting events, a life group and in one-on-one discipleship. We believe that they will get more spiritual growth by investing in those avenues than by throwing more things at them.
However, we do have several connecting events (see below) that target men and women specifically as these are a great way for newcomers to meet get connected and to deal with gender-specific issues.
Connecting events are simply ways for people (inside and outside the church) to connect with others. Whether it be a sports outreach like flag football or softball league, the church camping retreat, ladies’ night out, or the daddy/daughter banquet, these events are intended to connect people and encourage them in their walks with God and roles in life.
